12 Dec Website design is subjective, the results are the objective
Every website is a unique as the business it presents
I offer a website package built around best practice, security, performance and of course great design. My websites are designed to engage with the visitor and improve conversion.
Does it feel like website design is all form over function?
The design is, of course, entirely subjective. I used to spend days designing sites and then coding them. We simply don’t need to do that anymore. All design is tailored specifically to your brand, but we start with a base: website elements that interact with one another so that you can get a feel for the design before commencing a project.
At the start of a project, the very first question I ask is ‘what do you want your website to do?’ So, there it is, the objective. Next, we find the path to design, develop and deliver.
Every website package consists of:
- Consistent look and feel across all devices
- Usability and conversion
- Measurable security and data integrity
- GDPR compliance
- Measurable speed and performance
- Hosting and data storage
- Content Management system (CMS)
- Search Engine Optimisation
- Visitor tracking/usage
- Disaster recovery plan
- Regular maintenance and updates
A standard set of rules from which to work to help make your website a success.
